Nyanyi Beach, Tabanan's Hidden Black Pearl

This place is located a bit far from the “conventional” beach lines around Southwest Bali as it’s not located in Canggu, instead in Tabanan. This has always been on my list every time I’m in the mood for something calm.

• The sand’s colour is black. Quite different than the other beaches as what I know, another black sand beach in Bali is located in in Karangasem. But for me who lives in Ubud, this beach is easier to reach. Only around an hour scooter drive.

• Not so many peoples. Only local fishermen, and many pre-weddings. It looks like they created an unwritten territory. If you want to do pre-wedding or another casual photo shoot, you can go to the right side of the beach. Meanwhile if you’re going to the left side of the beach, there are many local fishermen doing their duties and boys playing beach soccer.

• I’m quite sure to say that the beach itself has such an amazing landscape view with its unique black sands & rocks. Also in many articles, this beach has 2 surf points with great waves. But so far, I only saw 1 surfer rolling his board above the salt water.
